Annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument

The 2024 Annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument will take place in-person this year on November 11th to commemorate the day in 1620 that the Mayflower Pilgrims made first landfall in the New World and dropped anchor in Provincetown Harbor. Please join us before the Lighting for a fun-filled, ticketed event where you can mix and mingle with some local food and drink, as well as ensure you get the best spot on our lawn to view our beloved Provincetown tradition! The lights go on at 6:00 p.m. so head on up to High Pole Hill at 5:30 p.m. You can enter the grounds via the inclined elevator on Bradford Street or use the ADA access road from our parking lot. For those planning to utilize the inclined elevator, please anticipate lengthy lines and note that it will not run after the Lighting.
