Enjoy the 360-degree perspective from atop Sandy Neck Lighthouse and see all of Barnstable Harbor! This guided kayak excursion is a wonderful opportunity to learn about some of Cape Cod Bay's most fascinating places: the remote cottage colony, the expansive dunes, the massive Great Marsh. This tour is a truly unique experience as the lighthouse is closed to the public and only Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary has exclusive access! The tour will also explore the extensive tidal creeks of the harbor as Mass Audubon naturalists point out shorebirds, ospreys, horseshoe crabs and other creatures of the marsh. This trip is intended for those with previous kayaking experience. Participants will be required to wear life vests. Kayaks, paddles, life vests and safety equipment are provided.
